  2. Version 3.2 corrects some color errors on a mono system.
  3. If you have a mono system and have any display problems
  4. please let me know right away so I can correct the
  5. problem.
  6.  
  7. Version 3.3. I made some minor changes. These were mostly
  8. to the opening and closing screens.
  9.  
  10. This program no longer requires the BRUN30.EXE runtime
  11. library. I have now compiled it under QuickBASIC 4.5
  12. so that it is a stand-alone program.
  13.  
  14. Version 3.4 Program now goes directly to user name input
  15. instead of the shareware screen.
  16.  
  17. Version 4.0 is now written in Turbo Pascal 5.5. It is much
  18. smaller and quicker. The delay for slow to fast computers
  19. is now built in and is automatic at about .25 of a second.
  20.  
  21. Version 5.0 is now written in Turbo Pascal 7.0. There was a
  22. bug in the earlier Turbo Pascals in the DELAY() command and
  23. I worked out one of my own. It was not the best, worked okay
  24. on my system. With the new BP package the DELAY() command
  25. works much better so I had to redo all the delays in the
  26. program. I also did some changes in displays, colors, etc.
  27. The new program should be faster on slower machines. I used
  28. to rewrite the whole screen during play but now I just update
  29. the door the user opens, which makes it faster.

  31. The Score file format has changed. I have added the time to
  32. the display and score file. If you are installing this new
  33. version make sure you delete the old score file once you are
  34. inside the program. If you fail to erase the score file the
  35. display inside the program as well as the score file itself
  36. will be all messed up.
  37.  
  38. Version 5.01 Mostly minor internal updates. Did change the exit
  39. screen so that the background color is now the user's original
  40. background color.
  41.  
  42. Version 5.1. The above version number was incorrect. It should
  43. have been 5.1. More changes in the score file and it is suggested
  44. that you erase any old copies from inside the program. The users'
  45. names are no colorized inside the program.
  46.  
  47. Many internal and display changes. The background on the exit screen
  48. is not the users' background color to make it look better when
  49. exiting to DOS. Overall the program should be much more colorful
  50. and easier to see and understand.
  51.  
  52. I have added HUCKABEY.TXT to the archive so that all users have a
  53. list of all my software. See the file for details on getting a
  54. copy of these files directly from me. Added an ARCHIVE.TXT to the
  55. archive so users know what should and should not be in the actual
  56. archive.
